[ memory ref, writes this up 7 months later cause i can

- a younger Narrah and a girl of similar age called Ryenne are on a heist to steal gleamstone
- Ryenne has a weak constitution
- Ryenne worries, but Narrah reassures her that nobody can get past Tafye. Tafye is offscreen
- there are sounds of a scuffle nearby, Narrah continues to reassure Ryenne that nothing can get past Tafye
- they reach the gleamstone without issue
- a pack of thugs come bursting in, Narrah hands Ryenne the gleamstone and urges her to run
- Narrah attempts to use his Shifting power to throw heavy objects at the intruders, but he's clearly using non-lethal force and hesitant about fighting to kill
- also seems exhausted from a previous encounter?
- Narrah is pinned down, the thugs focus on Ryenne
- Ryenne's eyes go white. everyone including Narrah collapses to the ground and starts writhing as if experiencing a terrible nightmare
- Ryenne starts laughing
- Narrah, no longer pinned down by someone else, manages to crawl over to Ryenne and embrace her, even while struggling against the status effect
- the memory ends

Felt alludes to her side of the story very briefly in LL ]
