He made me a whole necklace. Um, please don't tell him, but I tossed it at the cat cafe. It smelled way too much to keep in my room.

Heh, I won't tell him. Doubt it'd work on her anyway, but the thought's nice.

The thought's really nice. That's why I want to...appreciate all of you better, instead of being too scared to. What I have right now is really great. Yeah, I lost a lot of it once for, like, five minutes. But I don't want to lose all of it for good because that happened.

Did you hate talking to me? After I lost my memory. Like...you were super nice about it and everything, but it couldn't have felt great to be around someone who didn't remember knowing you.

It didn't feel too great at first, but I didn't hate it. To be honest with ya, s'kinda like we just picked up where it left off.

Seriously? That doesn't sound too terrible.

Seriously, I was just startin' to get to know ya before it happened. You'd been by a couple of times for extra help, so I knew ya a bit better than most of my students. But it wasn't anythin' close to how it is now.

I'd kind of...someone I care about a lot lost his memories during the carnival. It was just a dumb temporary thing. But he said some stuff that really sucked? It wasn't his fault, obviously, like, I wasn't mad about it. He literally didn't know me.

But it got me wondering what it was like for the people around me, you know? Especially since mine wasn't a dumb temporary thing. I sort of started thinking maybe that's why my folks never showed up when you asked around. Maybe I would've been too hard to be around, you know?

Ah . . . was it Hyacinth? 'Cuz I spoke to him a lil' too.

I don't think it would've been too hard, but - is there anyone here who knew ya well before it happened?

Yeah, Cinth. He had one of those masks from some booth, and it turned him into a real dick on top of that.
