Okay, good.

Because it'd just be lame to win a fight against someone injured.

Good thing neither one is going to happen.

[rolls his shoulder a couple of times]

'M ready when you are.

[ experimentally moves like he's going to throw a punch ]

[shifts his stance, throwing his arm up as if to block it]

[ feints, switches gears last minute to go in low with a light hit ]

[throughbamboo]

[he's curious to see how strong Aster is, so he lets Aster get the punch in.

That's some solid muscle he hits]

[ well, he'd meant to go easy and pull back. but since ore is letting him,

it's a strong hit! good amount of force behind it, more than one might expect from an amnesiac healer from acidia ]

[throughbamboo]

[oho. He grunts a little in surprise, but that's definitely a grin on his face instead of a wince.

There's no feint from him, he just comes from the side with his own, low punch]

[audacity]

[ aster goes to dodge, but it definitely catches him in the side just the same. makes him smile, though, as he pulls away; watches to see how ore will follow up ]

[Ore follows up with another swing, another punch going low. On the slower side, like he's also testing to see how Aster will react]

[ somersaults out of the way, opening up distance between them; a lot like someone who has the instinctual awareness of being a lighter, faster target than an opponent ]

[he doesn't pursue, but instead settles back on his heels with his hands up again, more defensive than ready to strike]

[audacity]

Tired already? Man, old age sucks.

[throughbamboo]

Why don't ya come closer'n say that, brat.

[ grins ]

If that's what ya want—

[fine, he'll go to Aster, ducking low into a shoulder tackle.

He's not as quick as Aster, but he's a lot faster than he looks]

[audacity]

[ definitely faster than he looks — or than aster would've anticipated

which is another way of saying he is tacKLED

goes down with a laugh, though ]

[doesn't leave his feet, it's definitely one of those moves that's part of his repertoire.

But he is chuckling as he steps away so Aster can't retaliate immediately]

[ goes to follow, though, sliding into a low kick to try to sweep ore off-balance — or, better, off his feet ]

[throughbamboo]

[he steps back away from that, but then lifts his foot to try and kick him in return while he's down there, almost like a stomp]

[audacity]

[ INELEGANT SCRAMBLE TO DODGE THAT STOMP ]

[MAKES A GRAB FOR HIM WHILE HE'S SCRAMBLING]

[ LAUGHS AND GOES TO WIGGLE AWAY but ore might succeed
