[ pauses briefly, considering that, then exhales as he follows ore in ]

Hate that you do, but sorta glad that you get it?

[huffs out a little noise as he starts to tug off his jacket]

I know some stubborn folk who won't talk 'til ya beat it out of 'em.

N' it's easier sometimes, to get it out with yer fists first before ya try to put words to it.

[ he agrees.

shoves a bottle off a table just for a little enrichment while ore does that, then abruptly adds, ]

She didn't even let us revive. I had to be a stupid little ghost and watch everyone freak out over my body until the performance ended. Then she made Snow give me "true love's kiss" before I could get better. He bolted as soon as she let us leave. I don't even blame him.

[oh. He pauses at that, then scowls deeply and tosses the coat aside]

The fuck kinda performance was this? Makin' ya kill family an' not bringin' ya back 'til ya do shit like that?

This — thing, where we had to travel through a bunch of different rooms with stuff in them. Only, each room had something to do with someone's memories or memories, and the stuff did too.

I spent part of it with some guys from Unholy and Holy and Sun Sign, and that was kind of okay. Forte had a hard time, though, and one of our rooms was River's room. And then the part I spent with my Family super wasn't too bad, until all the murder. I don't think anyone else died, or got hurt too bad? So we're just lucky, I guess.

[the more Aster explains, the more Ore's expression sours]

None of that sounds okay. Sounds more like a goddamn invasion of privacy.

Yep, sure was. I didn't even know River's room was still in my mind.

Makes me wonder, if yer memories of River really were taken or that producer was just fuckin' with ya.

[ struggles with himself for a moment, then shrugs ]

She's pretty crazy. Probably was screwing with me.

Mmm, prob'ly.

[UNSURE. But he cracks his knuckles, then brings his hands up in a fighting stance]

C'mon then.

[audacity]

[ he doesn't need to ask twice.

launching himself at ore with a shout, going for a punch to the gut ]

[throughbamboo]

[Ore quickly steps to the side to dodge it, but instead of throwing a punch he keeps moving to put a few steps of distance between them again, staying on the defensive]

[audacity]

[ pivots to follow, grabs the side of the table so he can vault over it to try to close the distance between them ]

[throughbamboo]

[Aster is faster than him, so he'll catch him easily. Though as soon as his feet touch the ground, Ore throws his arm out, swinging at him]

[ grabs ore's arm to propel himself into a flip so he can land elsewhere in the room, ]

[it works! The grumbled curses have no heat to them whatsoever]

Fuck, yer one of those.

[ that actually gets a smile as he rushes ore again ]

Strong and awesome?

Quick an' annoyin'.

[waits until he gets right up close to try to grab and throw him, as one does]

How'd you know that's my middle name?

[ SUCCEEDS at grabbing and throwing

which earns a sound equal parts amused and annoyed as he skids back, catching himself, then goes at ore again.

this time, his intention is to drop at the last minute and basically tackle his legs ]

Here I thought it was lil' shit.

[Ore doesn't dodge this time, but he does stagger back at the attempted tackle. But also, it'll take much more than that to get him off his feet.

GONNA TRY TO THROW HIM AGAIN]

[ oop, picked up and thrown ]

[ said as he throws himself into a roll and comes back up standing ]

[his lips twitch]

It ain't showin' off if ya don't weigh nothin'.

[ and he WILL continue to attack ore in the same vein for a while more, until he starts to flag with tiredness ]
