tosses the pillow back down and goes to his closet to get out comfy clover sportswear to change into. ]

[huh, dejavu. He slowly raises an eyebrow, but rather than stand by the door, he'll come sit on the edge of the bed]

he gets changed, hanging his snakeskin coat up. ]

Yeah, I just had that stupid fuckin' bunny bitchin' most of the way back.

How we ain't thankin' him enough or some shit. Nevermind how we asked him ta help in a ritual with the Gambler Demon an' he didn't. Or him bein' a lil' bitch about ya to me, sayin' he'll tell on me. Fuckin' annoyin'. [ rolls his eye. ] No, this time? We made it clear Clover was doin' negotiations, don't say a word, an' when it's all tense, he opens his yap an' starts derailin' the whole goddamn thing. I had ta steer it back on track.

[ turns, waving a hand. ]

An' then! Then! When I tell him why I'm so fuckin' pissed, he deflects an' talks about other shit. Never fuckin' ownin' up ta his own nonsense an' lords over everyone. Drives me up the goddamn wall.

[he snorts softly, shifting so that he can sit cross-legged on the bed instead]

Got the impression he likes ta talk, so him not bein' quiet ain't a surprise. But he shouldn't be tryin' ta when ya'll got business to take care of. Think he likes gettin' a rise outta ya?

But - what's he gonna tell on ya to me 'bout? He think I'm yer keeper?
