[ waves a hand dismissively and drags himself off to the master bedroom.

he's going to just flop down on his bed, face first into a pillow. ]

[he'll grab his coat to bring it into - well, his room, not guest room as he keeps trying to think of it as.

He sits on the bed, in the middle and crosslegged, while he waits for the exhaustion to truly kick in]

[ the thing is, on a good night, Majima doesn't get nearly enough sleep. There's always something lingering in the back of his brain, something itching there.

And after Kurosawa, who veered dangerously close to Sagawa territory? well.

so after jerking awake after maybe an hour or so, he sits there in his big, stupid bed with a frown, brows furrowing as he considers.

and then he pushes himself up and shuffles down the hall to Saejima's room. as you do. ]

[Saejima tries to sleep; he gets under the covers and tries to quiet his mind down and do what he normally would, stare at the ceiling until sleep took over.

But the ceiling is unfamiliar and the bed is way too soft and the noises are all wrong, and after a while he sighs heavily and sits back up. It's too comfortable and it says something that that's a problem.

He's seriously considering getting up to go out for a smoke when he hears Majima's shuffling in the hallway]

[ he opens the door, staring over at Saejima quietly to see if he's awake. ]

[he tilts his head, staring back for a moment with a frown]

. . . bro?

[ wordlessly walks over to his bed and flops down on the other side.

it's a big stupid penthouse with big stupid beds so there's more than enough room. ]

[ah. He watches Majima flop down, expression stone-faced.

Then he shifts to lay back down without a word]
